Scott was raised in Austin, Texas since he was 6 years old. He attended Westwood High School and Went to Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas, where he played for the golf team. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2000 and served 5 years active duty. He is a veteran of the war on terrorism doing tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He is also a 3rd generation insurance agent that started his career with Farmer Insurance in 2005 in San Diego, CA before moving back to Georgetown, Texas. He is the proud husband and father to a daughter.
